I love what I do…
Close to 15 years doing photography, and I'm still as excited by a great shot as I was on day one. My background is in photojournalistic photography — which means I'm always looking for the candid moment, the one that actually happened, not the one someone posed for.
I don't believe in stiff. I believe in real. Whether it's a wedding for 300 people or a maternity session in a Toronto park, my job is the same: stay out of the way until the moment arrives, then catch it.
I believe in love…
I am a romantic — or at least that's what my beautiful wife tells me. I just try to observe. I look for the story between people: the way someone looks at their partner when they think no one is watching, the chaos of kids climbing all over their parents, the quiet before the ceremony.
I want to give you something you'll still look at in 20 years. Not just a photo — a memory you can hold. That's why I do this.
